Fresno Christian's 1st Football Game
Please join us for Fresno Christian's 1st Football game of the season at our new stadium on September 17th - Strathmore vs Fresno Christian! After more than 20 years of playing at Clark in Clovis, we will play our first game right here on our campus thanks to a very generous donor! The JV game begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Varsity game at 7:30! Wear your FCS spiritwear (for sale in the Athletic Office) and let's have a HUGE crowd for our home opener! We hope to see you there! Go Eagles!
Elementary News
Girls Volleyball Coach Needed (5th/6th)
We are currently in need of a Girls Elementary volleyball coach. If you are interested in coaching the girls (5th/6th) team, please contact Athletic Director Cynthia Ward at cward@fresnochristian.com. If you don't feel qualified to coach, but can serve as an assistant, or a "mom" or "dad" who can attend the practices, please let our Athletic Director know. We would like to start practices on September 13th, after school. Thank you for your consideration of serving the girls!

Early Arrival - 7:45 AM

While we have safety backup systems, parents are still responsible for the safety of their children until school supervision takes over. Please do not leave your child until you see an adult on duty. Also, do not drop a child off for school except in designated areas where our staff is on duty as this presents serious problems for the student and the school. Please help us protect the safety of your child by following the above instructions.
Elementary Lunch Schedule
The following are the campus lunch schedules for 2010/11:
1-2 Northeast Campus
Snack Recess - 10:15-10:40 AM
Lunch Recess - 12:10-1:00 PM
3-6 Peoples Campus
Snack Break-approximately 10:15 PM
Lunch Recess - 11:45-12:35 PM
Children will need to bring their lunch. Milk and juice may be purchased at each campus for 40 cent each.

Lunch Menu
Lunch is served each day outside the athletics office on the second floor of building 6.
The lunch menu for the week is as follows:
Monday: Teriyaki chicken and rice bowl w/fortune cookie $5; water $1
Tuesday: Spaghetti, salad and roll $5; water $1
Wednesday: Pizza $2 per slice; water $1
Thursday: Macaroni & cheese and salad $5; water $1
Friday:Salad and Baked potato bar $5; water $1
Do Not Leave Bags Unattended
As Mr. Bennett has being telling everyone all year, do not leave your bags unattended in the halls. Bags can very easily be stolen or broken in to when they are not with you. Any bags left in the halls in what use to be called "parking lots" will be confiscated.
Campaign Posters
Campaign posters and other related materials are to be left alone. Vandalizing of the campaign materials is wrong, and if seen, will be strongly dealt with. Please respect the efforts of those running for office.
Dress Code Clothes
If you have "dress code" clothes that you were asked to change into, please bring them back to the office. You must return all shirts and pants.

High School
Golf Meeting
All students interested in playing golf this year, please come to an informational meeting on Thursday, Sept. 2, at lunch in Room 623. Coach Hopper will go over the plans for the season and discuss the practice schedule. Come out and find out all about our Golf team! See you there!
CSF Applications
The largest club on campus is gearing up for another great year! CSF applications are now available from Mrs. Sargent in Room 621 or in HER office upstairs. The enrollment period lasts two weeks, and absolutely no late applications will be accepted after the final day, September 3. Dues are again $5, and be sure to attach a copy of your spring 2010 grades to the application. See Mrs. Sargent if you have questions.
Military Academy Information Night
Juniors and seniors interested in attending one of the military academies (tuition-free, if you are admitted!) should attend Congressman George Radanovich's Academy Information Night Tuesday, September 28, at 6:30 P.M. The once-a-year event will be at the Stanislaus County Ag Center "Harvest Hall," 3800 Cornucopia Way, in Modesto. Representatives from all the Service Academies (Navy, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, Air Force, and West Point ) will be present to answer questions. College Night
The 27th Annual Fresno Area College Night will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 6-9 P.M. at the new Convention Center Exhibit Hall. This event gives students and their parents an opportunity to speak to representatives from more than 100 colleges, as well as to attend sessions on college admissions and financial aid, among others. Admission is free.
Smittcamp Scholar
Juniors and seniors who are interested in applying for a President's Scholarship at Fresno State through the Smittcamp Family Honors College should plan to attend one of the two Honors Information Days scheduled for Saturday, September 18, or Saturday, September 25, at the Satellite Student Union at Fresno State. Seniors who have a minimum GPA of 3.6 are eligible; visit the website at honors.csufresno.edu for a comprehensive view of the benefits of this special program and for scheduling times.
Christian College Fair
The annual NACCAP Christian College Fair will be Tuesday, September 21, 6-9 P.M. at Buchanan High School. More than 30 Christian colleges from around the country will be in attendance. But before you go, check out our own Christian College Fair during lunch in the GZ Quad on September 21. A dozen colleges are scheduled to attend; plan on stopping by and gathering information about the many top quality Christian colleges that will be represented. Ask your English teacher about extra credit!
Reedley College Open House
Reedley College will hold their High School Open House on Thursday, September 9, 9:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Meet with representatives from CSU's, UC's, and private colleges and universities. You may also tour the campus and sit in on classes. Call the Reedley College Transfer Center at 638-3641, ext. 3234 for more information.

Planeteers Club
A new club has formed on campus: The Planeteers Club! This club is an environmentally focused organization for students who want to volunteer together. We will be doing service events every other Saturday. If you're interested in applying, come to an informational meeting in room 601 at lunch on Thursday. For more informaiton, contact Mrs. Nakashian, Austin Ward or Ricky Lopez.

Beach Trip
The beach trip for the game against Coast Union is on October 1st, from 10am - 1am. The cost is $25 per person. Sign up in the high school office. You MUST pay when you sign up. The sign ups are first come, first served, so hurry!.

Friday Night Football
Come support your Fresno Christian Eagles JV football team this Friday night as they take on the Minarets Mustangs. They will play their first home game of the season on the new FC football field.
PSN Meeting
Our first PSN meeting is coming up September 9th at 8:15 in the Ground Zero Cafe.
